Firebricks

Soapstone is an excellent material to line up fireplaces, due to it's thermal properties. Soapstone can withstand very high temperatures, it retains and radiates the heat. Re-lining your firebox with soapstone fire bricks is a great option to improve it's efficiency and upgrade the look of standard fire bricks without costing you an arm and a leg.

These fire bricks are installed just like any other fire bricks using high temperature mortar.

We also stock 60mm thick (2 3/8") soapstone slabs in various sizes (up to 100" x 60") for the do it yourself fireplace and heater builders.
