SPECIFICATIONS

The Cove 2 provides all of the efficiency and beauty of a soapstone masonry heater with a more contemporary look than our other models. This heater is admired for its wide, angled glass door that allows an astonishing view of the flames within. Aesthetics and practical, radiant heat come together like never before in the Cove 2, making it the perfect gathering point for family and friends.

The Cove 2 can be assembled by homeowners and comes with detailed, easy-to-follow instructions. You have the choice to set the soapstone dry or with mortar. If you choose to set the stone dry, the unit is easily disassembled for relocation. This method will likely take less than two hours to finish, while setting with mortar will take roughly four hours (time estimates do not include flue/chimney connection, which should be installed by a professional).

All you need is a spatula, rubber mallet, level, clamps, and angle grinder (to trim stone pieces if necessary). The soapstone is secured to each piece with included metal clips. The Cove 2 meets all US and Canada EPA requirements.
