What is Quartzite?
Quartzite is a metamorphic rock that has been formed from sandstone. Metamorphic rocks are rocks that have been altered by pressure and heat. Soapstone and Marble, for instance, are also rocks of this kind.
This is an extremely hard stone that is not water or acid-soluble.
In its purest form , quartzite is white like marble, but it can have “impurities” in it that give it some unique patterns and colors.
Quartzite should be sealed a few times a year to prevent from staining.
